| WHY
DID YOU CHOOSE THIS PRODUCT? |
My
last few pairs of shoes have been quite cheap shoes that
are great for the first couple of months but then the
cushioning compacts and the grip wares down. I decided
to invest a bit more money into a pair of shoes that were
going to last longer. I had heard a lot about New Balance
from various people, so decided to look into them. I was
originally intending to purchase the 854 shoes;
as they were highly praised by Rip. After messaging Rip
on the subject I found out that he was looking to get
the 1050 shoes; so I looked into these as
well and decided upon them.

COMFORT
Very, very comfortable. I have used a variety of shoe
brands before, and have found these the most comfortable.
Excellent padding all around the foot.
SUPPORT AND CUSHIONING
These offer very good support to the ankle, without being
too restricting. New Balances sizing system is really
useful as it allows you to get the perfect fit. When I
first received the shoes I thought the sole felt quite
solid. After closer inspection I found that it had little
gel pockets along the side of the shoe, on the ball of
the foot and on the heel; this allows plenty of cushioning
whilst running as well as during practice.
DURABILITY
After giving them a vigorous first few days, they have
held up nicely with no signs of wear. The sole is made
of solid rubber, with blown rubber in the areas least
prone to wear. This should allow the sole to keep form
for a good few months.
STYLE
You dont buy a parkour shoe for the looks, so I
wasnt really bothered with how they would appear.
However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they
did actually look good. A stylish design, with an interesting
look.
TRACTION
The best traction of all the shoes Ive tried. The
blown rubber provides excellent traction on a variety
of surfaces. They offered excellent grip on metal, painted
metal and plastic from the start but were a bit sketchy
on walls to begin with. Once worn in though, the grip
on walls was excellent, second to none.
|
| CONCLUSION |
If
you are like I was and like to buy cheaper shoes that
are only good for a few months at most; then I would strongly
investing a bit more money into these. Excellent grip,
cushioning, support and durability whilst looking good
and still being very comfortable. Im expecting these
to last me for a long time; definitely worth the money.
